Se ga še kdo spominja?

Eddie “the Eagle” Edwards, prvi tekmovalec, ki je zastopal Veliko Britanijo na olimpijskih igrah v skokih in tam postavil z dolžino 73.5 metrov Britanski rekord v smučarskih skokih. Tukaj je tudi ta skok:

Spomnim se, da smo z velikim veseljem čakali na njegove nastope in gledali skoke od začetka do konca ravno zaradi njega. Kasneje se je Eddie še poskušal kvalificirati, vendar mu nikoli več ni uspelo.

In kakšen vtis je pustil drugje po svetu? To lepo razloži stavek iz Wikipedie, sicer v angleščini ampak, da ti gredo kar kocine pokonci:

At the closing ceremony the president of the Games singled him out for his contribution: “At this Games some competitors have won gold, some have broken records and one has even flown like an eagle.” At that moment, 100,000 people in the stadium roared ‘Eddie! Eddie!’. It was the first time in the history of the games that an individual athlete had been mentioned in the closing speech.

V Celju se teče

Včeraj sva s punco odprla sezono teka. In po več kot pol leta brez teka se je kar poznalo, da je kondicija na psu. Ampak počutje po teku pa je fenomenalno. Tako je bilo tudi za pričakovat in skrajni čas je bil, da sva začela. Edina škoda je, da je tekaška proga poledenela in ni mogoče šibat po njej. Zato sva pač uporabila okoliške ulice.

Bo treba samo še izmerit, koliko je en krog.

Mestni gozd Celje in zverina

Odkar sem v Celju, mi še ni uspel post na to temo in tokrat si Celje zasluži, da ga omenim. V nedeljo sva se z mojo najdražjo podala v Mestni gozd, največjo zeleno površino v Celju. Z drugo besedo tudi največji celjski park.

V tem gozdu so urejene srčne poti, kjer si lahko obiskovalci merijo utrip in skrbijo za svojo kondicijo. Na vrhu se nahaja tudi cerkvica. Le to bomo obiskali prihodnjič. Tokrat sva naredila manjši krog, ki poteka od parkirišča v parku pa preko srčne poti do Meškovega studenca. Urica razgibavanja je dobro dela, navkljub praskanju mojega grla.

Aja, zverina ja, to je bila moja nova pridobitev, EOS 40D, ki je glede na kompakte kar obsežnejši. Tudi Nikon D80 je manjši. Ampak mi ga je bilo v veselje nositi in nastalo je tudi nekaj prvih slik z njim.

Vreme ni bilo ravno najbolj idealno. Malo sončka izza oblakov. Se vidi da je jesen pred vrati.

Park je glede na to, da ga je zalila voda, še kar lepo pogledati.

Tak da, le korak iz mesta si lahko človek privošči sprehod v naravi. Samo volja je potrebna.

Mito is rock bottom on the table and so far won only one game, and are by the statistic so far worse attack and also worse defending team. But I never give a lot for statistic. Mito didn’t deserve all the losses. In last game against Shonan they were better than Shonan in first half, but the problem was that their defender Shinya Hatta was sent out due to second yellow card. After that they concede first goal and in second half another one. So for this game defender Hatta will be out and also they have two injuries from last rounds, striker Nishino and another defender Owada. Also Mito has a few injuries from previous games, among them 2 other defenders. So very weakened defence and also overall team isn’t at their best. Just to mention, Yamagata beat Shonan 4-0 in away game. Mito has 1-2-7 in last 10 games and will surely look for a win. In normal circumstances I’d go for motivation, but injuries are main reason I am turning to Yamagata.
Yamagata has 4-4-2 in last 10, but to mention that 5 games in a row without a win (but 3 draws). And they need win now, and need a good one, with difference, to get their pride back. Mito in troubles is the perfect opponent. IMO they can win by 2 goals.

Another game from this league that got my intention. Both teams quite eqal on the table and odds should be correctly set. But, a few factors that I like here are getting me into Tokyo. First, Tokyo knows how to score goals and is almost doubled the goals from Kusatsu. Also Tokyo knows to score and win in away game. Last game they won 1-0 in away and they even manage to put in 4 goals to Kyoto the thrd team on the table. Ok, stil Kusatsu has chances, that’s why I lower my stake. But from info I have, for this game striker Ujihara will be absent due to red card. He was scorer of goal against Shonan where they lost 3-2 in start of may and also scored 2 goals to win 2-1 against top team Sapporo which make the only defeat of sapporo in last 11 games. So IMO quite important player for Kusatsu and can maybe affect the game a bit. Odds are worth to try with small stake.

ok, slowly. Consadole’s fact: best team in league, best defence, best offence, berst home teram, best away team and also best last 10 games record with 9-0-1. In last 11 games lost only once. Surely enough facts to back them up again. IMO team that knocks on J1 already. This time they meet Ehime who is bottom table team but they have spell over them. Tehy didn’t score a single goal at home for 4 games now. Surely wil lbe looking to score here, but IMO Consadole is much better team here. Lately they play perfect, win also hard games, but showing all thet great spirit they have. Team is really conected and is question who can stop them. Ehime IMO isn’t one of them. First game of these two teams ended 1-0 at home for Consadole, but there Nishizawa was suspended and Consadole was better team and result should be a bit higher.
So now, IMO Consadole should win this one and since they are horse that runs, maybe even with 2 goal margine.
